"Cataclews Cottage" - Surprisingly spacious, modern three bed-roomed holiday cottage across the way from 'Delfi'

Warm and inviting ..again benefiting from catching those rays of Sunshine through the day :)

Cataclews has many regular guests returning 'home' each year to enjoy their holidays at the beach, though, of course there is always room and a very warm welcome to anyone new, wanting to come down to stay, we are 'OPEN ALL YEAR!'

The accommodation is all ground floor level (no stairs) and has a conservatory entrance from the adjacent car parking area for 2-3 cars (at a push!)

There is a 'front door' also, down the garden path at the front of the property.. off the main drive.

Annually inspected and graded 3-4 stars ..Cataclews is very well furnished and again has a comfortable feel with lots of 'seasidey' touches.

The living/dining room has plenty of seating ..two sofas, a recliner chair and an armchair; a woodburner effect electric heater; TV with freeview/dvd/vcr.. and a clever coffee table with hidden treasures! (books/games, etc. +out in the hall there's a cabinet with more! a selection of films and kiddy videos & dvds - oh, and lots of tourist information to entice you out and about. The pine dining table has easily extendable ends - to seat a small party or a full house?! (that is 2 to 6 people., only, thank you!)

In the kitchen, the view looks down the gravel drive and the cottages and as far as Trevose Headland (with the Lighthouse & Padstow Lifeboat Station up there, too). The kitchen has oak units and new black/silver appliances - more or less everything thought of, except washing machine.... (we have a laundry shed with a brand new 23 min washing machine @ £3.80 per wash - and a 50p drier., though Cataclews has a tumble drier of its own in a corner of the conservatory.)

'Cataclews' is named after Cataclews slate headland at the far end of the bay. This is a wonderful place to wander off to and sit and take in the sea air and the stunning views -or go and fish for mackerel off the cliff ledges. (As long as you know what you're doing, that is!?)

The cottage sleeps 6 people (+ baby - we can provide a cot, highchair and a Maclaren Pushchair is available too (if needs be). There's a large 5' double room (with washbasin/shaver point); two big twinbed rooms (one of which has ziplinked beds to transform into 'super kingsize' double room).

There is a family bathroom with shower over the bath.. and a separate cloakroom with electric shower.
